Orinda Classic Car Show - Featuring Corvettes This Year

Orinda Clasic Car Show is Featuring Corvettes This Year

The Orinda Classic Car Show has chosen Corvette as their featured car for this year’s event held on Saturday, September 9th in Orinda.  Chip Herman, the show chairman has asked DVC to help supply a number of Corvettes for the feature display and mid-day parade.

They are looking for cars that represent each of the different models since production began in 1953.  As a result Carl Carey and I are looking for owners of C1 through the C7 models who would like to be part of this tribute to the Corvette.  While all Corvettes are welcome to enter the show, only about a dozen cars will be part of the featured car display.

This year’s Orinda Classic Car Show will be the 13th since its inception and has raised over $450,000 for their local charity.  Due to space limitations in downtown Orinda, they only accept about 190 cars and they always sell out.  Entries are accepted on a first come first serve basis and they already have 65 cars registered.  The show is free and open to the public between the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm.  This is a car show only; there is no judging of any of the cars.

If you would like to be part of this wonderful show, please see the attached event flyer and car registration form.  Also visit the show’s website at www.orindacarshow.com or contact me if you have any questions.
